AnimeJapan 2026 Kicks Off at Tokyo Big Sight.

The world’s largest anime festival opened its doors today for a four-day run. This year’s event is particularly massive, featuring exclusive previews of upcoming summer blockbusters and a special 30th-anniversary showcase for the Ghost in the Shell franchise. Fans are also flocking to the Family Anime Festa, a dedicated area for younger children featuring character greetings from Pokémon and Doraemon.
