EU Greenlights €1.17 Billion In Recovery Funds.

The European Commission has approved a major payment request for Greece under the NextGenerationEU program. This disbursement, worth approximately €1.17 billion, comes after the country successfully met 20 milestones and 6 targets. Key projects funded by this latest injection include the establishment of a CO₂ storage facility. The renovation of several hospitals and primary healthcare centers. The expansion of affordable mortgage programs for first-time homebuyers. Total funds disbursed to Greece under this facility have now reached over €24.6 billion, fueling what some analysts call the Grecovery.
