Digital Shield for Minors.

In a major domestic policy shift, Greece launched a first-of-its-kind digital platform today aimed at preventing the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors. The Ministries of Digital Governance, Health, and Citizen Protection have integrated their systems to create a universal age verification tool. Sellers are now legally required to verify age digitally; if a buyer cannot provide proof through the system, the transaction is automatically prohibited. The government describes this as a "permanent reform" to protect public health.
