Year Of Sustainable Water.

The African Union has officially declared 2026 as the year of "Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems." With World Water Day tomorrow (March 22), the AU is launching a massive campaign under the slogan "Where Water Flows, Equality Grows." The initiative specifically focuses on the link between water access and gender equality, aiming to reduce the burden of water collection on women and girls while mobilizing international investment to build climate-resilient water infrastructure across all member states.
