IFP Reclaims Outright Majority in Nongoma.

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) won three of five contested by-elections in South Africa yesterday. By reclaiming key wards in Nongoma, the party restored its outright majority, holding 23 of 45 seats. This victory ends a period of coalition governance and signals growing momentum for the IFP ahead of the national local elections later this year.
