Chad And Nigeria Intensify Border.

Security forces across the Sahel and Lake Chad Basin have launched major offensives this week. Chad deployed 200 military vehicles to its border with Sudan following a deadly drone strike suspected to be from Sudan's RSF paramilitary group. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, the Chief of Defense Staff ordered an intensified offensive in Borno State on March 24 following a recent wave of suicide bombings. These coordinated efforts signal a tightening of regional security as governments move to dismantle insurgent networks and protect displaced populations.
